Special My Lai Exhibit Debuts at University of San Diego- March, 2022
Our special exhibit about the My Lai massacre featuring photographs from Ronald L. Haeberle was displayed at the University of San Diego where the photographer joined us at an opening reception.
The exhibit, My Lai: A Massacre Took 504 Souls, and Shook the World, and the reception event were sponsored by the Copley Library, the History and Political Science Departments, and the College of Arts and Sciences Dean Noelle Norton.
Accompanying the occasion, the San Diego Chapter of Veterans for Peace sponsored an essay contest and offered a $500 prize. Participants were asked to respond to the My Lai exhibit, explaining what it means to them and its lessons for today.
