The book launch and pop-up exhibit at the Oakland Public Library included presentations by New Jersey residents Paula Rogovin, peace activist; Jan Barry, Vietnam veteran, poet, author, journalist and professor; and JJ Johnson, a journalist and one of the Fort Hood Three, who, as one of the first soldiers to publicly refuse to deploy to Vietnam, served time in federal prison.
