Exhibit Brought to San Diego State University- March, 2022

A lively panel discussion kicked of the display of our exhibit at San Diego State University. Panel guests included David Cortright, John Kent, Susan Schnall, and William Short. They were joined by Professor Latha Varadarajan who provided an introduction and Professor Gregory Daddis who moderated. Co-sponsors of this event were the Department of History, Department of Political Science, Center for Human Rights, Fred J. Hansen Peace Chair, Eisenhower Media Network and the Hugh Thompson Chapter, Veterans for Peace.

The exhibit itself was displayed at Donor Hall within the University Library and was sponsored by International Security and Conflict Resolution (ISCOR) and the Center for War and Society.

The San Diego Chapter of Veterans for Peace made possible an essay contest, for which they offered a $500 prize. Participants were prompted to respond to what the Waging Peace in Vietnam exhibit meant to them and its lessons for today.
